Pierpaolo Soria
Reluctant first-time author.
I write because certain stories won't leave me alone, and at some point ignoring them becomes more effort than writing them.
I take photos to remember. I edit videos when I should be asleep.
I drink too much coffee.
I’ve spent years working in communication — institutional, scientific, cultural — turning projects into stories and data into images. I’m a photographer in pursuit of light that hasn’t been domesticated. I watch TV series with what my doctor would probably classify as a disorder. I have a complicated relationship with speed limits. When I’m depressed, I cook carbonara without cream, risotto without a Thermomix, and approach the oven with restraint.
In the meantime, I wrote Rumore:77.
